CCTV and sonar tracing are used to produce a full structural condition report of your drains in conjunction with WRC standards and requirements. These surveys are carried out only by qualified personnel to Water Industry Standards and code of practice, you should accept nothing less! Always ask your supplier to see their qualifications when dealing with structural investigations and repairs. Our surveys are downloaded to you the same day or next day from our own cloud.
Topographical drainage surveys are used to map the contours of the ground and existing features on the surface of the earth. Cover levels and true invert levels relate to sea level and an accurate scale drawing can be produced which will include pipe size, flow direction, nature of the drain, and potential legal ownership. Electronic drawings are produced in DWG format and PDF and are read in conjunction with a full structural condition report of the drains and sewers plotted. These drawings are crucial when considering a new build scheme and the need to know where drains run and can also be used to satisfy insurance companies for industries whereby companies need to know where their drains run in case of an emergency incident.
Our expert team are equipped to fix all types of drain repairs, including excavation to in-situ pipe relining. In addition to this, we can offer the correct structural solution to the required problem. Every member of our excavation and repair team are fully qualified, and they always carry their CSCS and CPCS qualifying cards. At our company, we work closely with local authority building inspectors, and all drains are installed in compliance with Document H building regulations. We define ourselves as the Midlands’ number 1 drainage contractors due to our strong work ethic and our ability to repair nearly all drainage problems. Our top tip is to always check for qualifications when having your drains repaired or installed.
An in-situ relining and patch repair, also known as cured in place (CIPP), is a no-dig or trenchless technology. In simple terms, it involves inserting a thin liner, which is impregnated with a chemical, into a drain and inverted with air or water for a period of time to cure. The expected end result shows a solid, seamless pipe within a pipe with minimal cross-sectional loss of approx. 3mm in a 100mm pipe, creating a full structural isolated repair. This can be used to illuminate difficult excavations and costly reinstatements.
