Take a look at our studies of housing associations and organisations that have used our drainage services for their establishment.
SCH realised the need to remove specialist drainage from day-to-day maintenance contractors in order to deliver a quicker and more cost-effective service. Typically, the maintenance contractor would attend with limited equipment and end up calling in a specialist drainage company. The net result was two lots of costs and a delay in the service to tenants. SCH now calls us for a first-time fix on a two-hour response. Obviously, the costs are reduced and the job is completed first time within the given time frame, meaning less customer complaints and an overall improvement in service to tenants.
2- and 3-storey multiple-use blocks tend to have guttering problems that are difficult to access; they build up with leaves and debris and cause leaks into flats. Traditionally, the councils would scaffold the block and clean the gutters on a cyclical programme. We can react the same day and clean the gutters to several blocks in one day using our VERTIVAC Gutter Cleaning Service, which is a ladder-less system that saves time and money and satisfies all health and safety concerns.
We were contacted by a factory owner, near Ashby De la Zouch, who was in the process of turning a long-established Industrial unit into a new leisure facility for children in the form of trampolining. The planning restrictions hinged on a sustainable drainage plan. We carried out a full topographical survey alongside sonar tracing and CCTV structural investigation. With all the information to hand, we re-used existing drains where possible and installed sustainable solutions for rainwater and proved no greater discharge from the site than previous and, in fact, a reduction in surface water runoff to the main sewer.
